Gameplay Guide

Welcome to the Gameplay Guide for the Solana Suite! This guide will walk you through how to play the games in the Arcade section, including Ultimate Tetris and the NewbieVerse RPG.

Ultimate Tetris

Ultimate Tetris is a classic block-stacking game where you aim to clear lines by fitting falling pieces (called tetrominoes) together. Here’s how to play:

  • Objective: Stack the falling tetrominoes to form complete horizontal lines. When a line is complete, it disappears, and you earn points. If the pieces stack up to the top of the screen, the game ends.
  • Controls:
    • Keyboard: Use the arrow keys to move the pieces:
      • Left Arrow: Move the piece left.
      • Right Arrow: Move the piece right.
      • Up Arrow: Rotate the piece clockwise.
      • Down Arrow: Move the piece down faster.
      • Spacebar: Pause or resume the game.
      • Enter: Restart the game if it’s over.
    • Touch Controls (Mobile):
      • Swipe Left: Move the piece left.
      • Swipe Right: Move the piece right.
      • Swipe Up: Rotate the piece.
      • Swipe Down: Move the piece down faster.
      • Double Tap: Rotate the piece.
      • Tap: Restart the game if it’s over.
    • Buttons: Use the on-screen buttons to move left, right, or rotate the piece. You can also use the action buttons to restart, pause, or go back to the game selector.
  • Scoring: You earn points for placing pieces and clearing lines:
    • Moving a piece down: 1 point per block moved down manually.
    • Clearing lines: Points depend on the number of lines cleared at once and your level:
      • 1 line: 100 points × level
      • 2 lines: 300 points × level
      • 3 lines: 500 points × level
      • 4 lines (a Tetris!): 800 points × level
  • Levels: Every 10 pieces you place, you advance a level. The game gets faster as your level increases, starting at a speed of 800 milliseconds per drop and decreasing by 100 milliseconds per level (down to a minimum of 100 milliseconds).
  • Earning Points: For every 1,000 points you score in Tetris, you earn 1 point toward the Leaderboard for airdrop rewards. For example, if you score 5,000 points, you’ll earn 5 Leaderboard points.
  • Tips:
    • Try to clear multiple lines at once for more points. Clearing 4 lines (a Tetris) gives the biggest bonus!
    • Leave a column open on one side to fit long pieces (like the straight line piece).
    • Rotate pieces to fit them into tight spots—practice using the rotate button or swipe up on mobile.
    • Don’t let pieces stack too high, or you’ll lose the game!

NewbieVerse RPG

The NewbieVerse RPG is a 50+ hour adventure with over 100 rooms, 100 unique monsters, and class-specific storylines. You’ll explore, fight, and complete quests to grow stronger.

  • Getting Started: When you start the RPG, you’ll choose a class (Werewolf, Vampire, Mage, or Hunter). Each class has unique stats, merits, and flaws:
    • Werewolf: High strength (+5) and dexterity (+3), with Regeneration (heals over time) but Moon Weakness (weaker during certain events).
    • Vampire: High charisma (+5) and dexterity (+3), with Life Drain (steals health) but Sun Vulnerability (weaker in daylight).
    • Mage: High intelligence (+5) and wisdom (+3), starts with Fireball and Ice Shard spells, and has Spell Mastery (stronger spells).
    • Hunter: High dexterity (+5) and strength (+3), with Tracking (better hit rating).
  • Objective: Explore the world, defeat monsters, complete quests for NPCs, and level up your character. The game starts in the Whispering Woods, and you’ll travel through various regions like the Frostfang Mountains and the Sands of Eternity.
  • Controls:
    • Movement: Use the directional buttons (North, East, South, West) to move between rooms.
    • Actions:
      • Battle (⚔️): Fight a monster in the current room.
      • Campaign (🧤): Interact with an NPC to start or progress a quest.
      • Flee (🏃‍♂️): Attempt to run from combat (50% chance, increased by dexterity).
    • Menu: Use the action buttons at the top to access:
      • Character: View and manage your stats, equipment, and name.
      • Inventory: See your items, use consumables, or equip gear.
      • Spells: View and cast spells during combat (if you’re a Mage or have learned spells).
      • Journal: Track your quests and progress.
      • Save/Load: Save your game or load a previous save.
      • Leaderboard: Check your airdrop points.
  • Combat: Combat is automatic once you start a fight:
    • You deal damage based on your strength, equipped weapon, and hit rating, minus the monster’s defense.
    • The monster deals damage based on its attack, minus your armor class (AC).
    • If you have spells, you can cast them during combat to deal extra damage or heal.
    • If your HP drops to 0, you’ll respawn at the starting room with full HP.
  • Quests: NPCs in various rooms give quests. Talk to them to accept a quest, defeat a specific monster to get an item, and return to the NPC to complete the quest for a reward.
  • Stats and Leveling:
    • You start at level 1 with 100 HP, 50 Mana, and base stats of 10 (Strength, Dexterity, Charisma, Wisdom, Intelligence).
    • Defeat monsters to gain XP and gold. Every 1,000 XP, you level up, gaining 20 HP and 10 Mana.
    • Use the “Train” option in the Character window to spend XP on improving stats (100 XP × your level per stat point).
  • Earning Points: For every 5,000 gold you collect in the RPG, you earn 1 point toward the Leaderboard. Gold persists even if you restart the game, so you can keep earning points over time.
  • Tips:
    • Explore every room—some have hidden NPCs or treasures.
    • Equip better gear dropped by monsters to increase your damage and defense.
    • Save often using the Save button to avoid losing progress.
    • Complete NPC quests for valuable rewards like weapons and armor.
    • Train your stats strategically based on your class (e.g., Strength for Werewolf, Intelligence for Mage).

TradeBot Guide

The TradeBot is an automated trading tool in the Solana Suite that helps you trade Solana tokens without constant monitoring. This guide will walk you through how to set up and use the TradeBot effectively.

What is the TradeBot?

The TradeBot automatically buys and sells tokens on your behalf based on settings you choose. It’s like having a robot trader that works 24/7, but you’re still in control of the settings! It uses the Solana blockchain to make fast trades and can help you earn profits while you focus on other things.

Setting Up the TradeBot

Before you start trading, you need to set up the TradeBot. Here’s how:

  • Step 1: Connect Your Wallet: Go to the User Settings window and connect your Phantom wallet (other wallets like Solflare or Ledger aren’t supported yet). Click “Connect Phantom Wallet” and approve the connection in your Phantom app. This lets the TradeBot access your SOL to trade.
  • Step 2: Authorize the TradeBot: In the TradeBot window, click “Authorize TradeBot.” This signs a message giving the TradeBot permission to trade for you for 24 hours. You’ll see a message like “Authorized until [date and time].” After 24 hours, you’ll need to reauthorize.
  • Step 3: Add Token Contract Addresses: Click “Validate Contract Address” to open the Contract Manager. Enter a Solana token’s contract address (you can find these on platforms like Raydium or DexScreener). The TradeBot will check the token’s safety using RugCheck:
    • It looks at the token’s safety score (0-100%), liquidity lock, ownership status, honeypot risk, and tax structure.
    • If the token looks safe, click “Confirm Validation” to add it to your list. Tokens with low safety scores (e.g., below 50%) might be risky—trade at your own risk!
  • Step 4: Set Your Trading Settings: Adjust the sliders or input boxes to set:
    • SOL per Trade: How much SOL to use per trade (0.003 to 10,000 SOL). Start small, like 0.1 SOL, to test the bot.
    • Profit Margin (USD): The profit you want per trade before selling (0.5 to 50,000 USD). For example, setting this to $1 means the bot will sell when you make $1 profit on a trade.
    • Loss Margin (%): The percentage loss you’re willing to take before selling to cut losses (5% to 75%). For example, a 5% loss margin means the bot will sell if the token’s price drops 5% below your buy price.
    • Concurrent Trades: How many tokens the bot trades at once (1 to 25). More trades mean more activity but also more risk—start with 1 or 2.
  • Step 5: Start Trading: Click “Start Trading.” The TradeBot will begin buying and selling tokens from your validated list based on your settings. You’ll see updates in the TradeBot Log, like “Bought 0.1 SOL of [token]” or “Sold 0.1 SOL of [token] for $1.50 profit.”
  • Step 6: Monitor and Adjust: Keep an eye on the TradeBot Log to see your trades. You can stop trading by clicking “Stop Trading,” clear the log with “Clear Log,” or adjust your settings anytime.

How the TradeBot Works

Here’s what happens when the TradeBot runs:

  • Buying Tokens: The TradeBot picks a token from your validated list, checks your SOL balance, and buys the amount you set (e.g., 0.1 SOL). It pays a 1% SOL tax per trade to the platform wallet (address: 3z61moW2p1S5Mj5KvPJoKfbunCwaBSRiHU9KSp45siwg).
  • Monitoring Prices: The TradeBot watches the token’s price using real-time data (simulated in this version, but in production, it would use APIs like CoinGecko). It calculates your profit or loss based on the price change.
  • Selling Tokens: The bot sells the token when:
    • You make your target profit (e.g., $1 profit if that’s your margin).
    • The price drops by your loss margin (e.g., 5% below your buy price).
    • It also pays a 1% SOL tax on the sell transaction.
  • Trade Limits: The TradeBot can only make 1,500 trades per day to prevent spam. If you hit this limit, it’ll stop trading until the next day.
  • Earning Points: For each buy-and-sell cycle, you earn 5 points toward the Leaderboard for airdrop rewards. If you make a profit of $1 or more on a trade, you get a bonus of 3 points. For example, a successful trade with $1.50 profit earns you 8 points (5 + 3).

Tips for Using the TradeBot

  • Start Small: Use a small amount of SOL (like 0.1 SOL) and a low profit margin (like $1) to test the bot. You can increase these as you get more comfortable.
  • Check Token Safety: Only add tokens with a good safety score (above 50%) to avoid scams. Look for tokens with locked liquidity and renounced ownership.
  • Balance Risk and Reward: A lower loss margin (e.g., 5%) means you’ll cut losses quickly but might miss a price rebound. A higher margin (e.g., 25%) gives the token more room to dip but risks bigger losses.
  • Monitor Your SOL Balance: Make sure you have enough SOL for trades and transaction fees (about $0.50 per trade). The TradeBot will stop if your balance is too low.
  • Clear the Log: If the TradeBot Log gets too long, click “Clear Log” to start fresh. Repeated messages (like errors) will show a counter (e.g., “Network error (3)”) if they happen within 3 minutes.
  • Stay Within Limits: Don’t set too many concurrent trades if you’re low on SOL. Each trade needs SOL to buy, plus fees for buying and selling.

Launchpad Guide

The Launchpad lets you create and trade your own Solana tokens right in the Solana Suite. This guide will show you how to use the Launchpad to deploy tokens, trade them, and understand the market feeds.

What is the Launchpad?

The Launchpad is a tool where you can make your own Solana tokens (called SPL tokens) and trade them with others. It’s like starting your own digital coin! You can set rules for your token, like how many there are and if there are special fees. Once your token is created, others can buy and sell it, and you can earn points for the Leaderboard.

Creating a Token

Here’s how to create your own token in the Launchpad:

  • Step 1: Connect Your Wallet: In the User Settings window, connect your Phantom wallet. You’ll need SOL to pay for creating a token.
  • Step 2: Open the Launchpad: Click the Launchpad icon (🚀) in the taskbar to open the Launchpad window.
  • Step 3: Go to the Create Tab: Make sure you’re on the “Create” tab (it’s the default tab when you open the Launchpad).
  • Step 4: Fill in Token Details:
    • Token Name: Choose a name for your token (e.g., “MyCoolToken”). Make it something fun or meaningful!
    • Token Symbol: Pick a short symbol (e.g., “MCT”). It’s like a ticker symbol for your token.
    • Total Supply: Decide how many tokens to create (1,000,000 to 10,000,000,000). For example, 1,000,000 means there will be 1 million of your tokens.
    • Burn % (0-3%): Set a percentage of tokens to burn (destroy) with each trade. This can make your token rarer over time. For example, 1% burn means 1% of the tokens in each trade are removed.
    • Commission % (0-3%): Set a fee that you earn from each trade. For example, 1% commission means you get 1% of the trade value as the token creator.
    • Anti-Whale % (0-2%): Limit how much one person can buy at once to prevent big buyers from controlling your token. For example, 1% anti-whale means someone can only buy 1% of the total supply in one go.
    • Snipe % (0-3%): Automatically buy a percentage of your token right after it’s created. For example, 1% snipe means you’ll buy 1% of your token’s supply immediately after deployment.
    • Total Parameters: The sum of Burn, Commission, Anti-Whale, and Snipe percentages can’t be more than 3%. You’ll see the total at the bottom (e.g., “Total Parameters: 2%”).
  • Step 5: Deploy Your Token: Click “Deploy Token ($7 SOL).” This costs $7 USD equivalent in SOL to create your token on the Solana blockchain ($5 SOL goes to address: 8s3giTGRxDfg8m7g7pkYJWCUhJ9CdCM1wi85pW6MZM4L, and $2 SOL goes to the platform wallet: 3z61moW2p1S5Mj5KvPJoKfbunCwaBSRiHU9KSp45siwg). You’ll also need a little extra SOL for transaction fees (about $0.50). If you set a snipe percentage, the Launchpad will automatically buy that amount of your token right after deployment.
  • Step 6: See Your Token: After deploying, your token will appear in the “Trade” and “Market” tabs. Others can now buy and sell it!

Trading Tokens

Once your token is created, you and others can trade it in the Launchpad. Here’s how:

  • Step 1: Go to the Trade Tab: In the Launchpad window, click the “Trade” tab.
  • Step 2: Find a Token:
    • Search by CA: Enter a token’s contract address (CA) to find it quickly. You can get the CA from the Market Feeds tab or after creating your token.
    • Filter Tokens: Use the filter dropdown to sort tokens by creation date, market cap, or number of holders. For example, “Creation Date (Newest)” shows the newest tokens first.
    • You’ll see a list of tokens with their name, symbol, CA, market cap (MC), and number of holders.
  • Step 3: Validate the Contract Address (Optional): Click “Validate Contract Address” to check a token’s safety before trading. This opens the Contract Manager, where you can see the token’s safety score, liquidity lock, and other details.
  • Step 4: Set the Amount: Enter how much SOL you want to use to buy or sell (e.g., 0.1 SOL). The minimum is 0.01 SOL.
  • Step 5: Buy or Sell:
    • Buy: Click “Buy” to purchase the token with your SOL. The Launchpad will mint new tokens for you, and a 1% SOL tax goes to the platform wallet ADDRESS: 3z61moW2p1S5Mj5KvPJoKfbunCwaBSRiHU9KSp45siwg.
    • Sell: Click “Sell” to sell your tokens for SOL. The Launchpad will burn the tokens you sell, and a 1% SOL tax goes to the platform wallet ADDRESS: 3z61moW2p1S5Mj5KvPJoKfbunCwaBSRiHU9KSp45siwg.
    • You’ll see the trade in the Launchpad Log (e.g., “Bought 0.1 SOL of MyCoolToken” or “Sold 0.1 SOL of MyCoolToken”).
  • Bonding Curve: Each trade adds to the token’s bonding curve (a pool of SOL). When the bonding curve reaches $50,000 SOL, the token is automatically paired on Raydium (a decentralized exchange), and the Launchpad burns the tokens to create a liquidity pool. This makes your token tradable on a bigger market!

Viewing Market Feeds

The Market Feeds tab shows you what’s happening with tokens in the Solana Suite and beyond:

  • Launchpad Tokens: See all tokens created in the Launchpad, including their name, symbol, and market cap.

Tips for Using the Launchpad

  • Start Simple: When creating a token, set low percentages (e.g., 1% burn, 1% commission) to attract traders. High fees might scare people away!
  • Promote Your Token: Share your token’s contract address in the SocialFi section to get more people trading!
  • Watch the Bonding Curve: If your token’s bonding curve grows to $50,000 SOL, it’ll move to Raydium, which can increase its value.
  • Check Market Feeds: Use the Market Feeds to find popular tokens to trade. Tokens with more holders might be safer bets.
  • Trade Smart: Only trade what you can afford to lose. The 1% tax per trade adds up, so make sure you have enough SOL for fees.

SocialFi Guide

SocialFi in the Solana Suite is a social platform where you can connect with others, share posts, and even tip friends with SOL. This guide will help you get started and make the most of SocialFi.

What is SocialFi?

SocialFi is a mix of social media and decentralized finance (DeFi). It’s a place where you can make a profile, post updates, comment on others’ posts, and tip people with SOL (Solana’s cryptocurrency). It’s built into the Solana Suite to help you build a community.

Getting Started with SocialFi

Here’s how to use SocialFi:

  • Step 1: Open SocialFi: Click the SocialFi icon (💬) in the taskbar to open the SocialFi window.
  • Step 2: Explore the Tabs: SocialFi has three tabs:
    • Profile: See and edit your profile using ProfileGrid (a WordPress plugin we use). You can add friends here and see how many friends you have.
    • Feed: Write your own post to share with the community. View the community feed where everyone’s posts show up. You can read, react to, and comment on posts.
    • Tip: Send SOL to other users as a tip to show appreciation for their posts.
  • Step 3: Set Your Display Name:
    • Go to the Feed tab.
    • Enter a display name (like “CryptoFan123”) and click “Set Display Name.”
    • You can change your name every 20 minutes, so choose wisely!
  • Step 4: Share a Post:
    • In the Feed tab, type your message in the “Post update…” box.
    • Click “POST” to share it with the community. Your post will appear in the feed with your display name and a timestamp.
    • Other users can react with emojis (👍, ❤️, 😂) or comment on your post.
  • Step 5: Engage with the Community:
    • Read posts in the feed and react by clicking an emoji (👍, ❤️, 😂).
    • Add a comment by typing in the “Add a comment…” box under a post and clicking “Comment.”
    • If you see a post you don’t like, click the “Report” button (🚩) to flag it. If a user gets too many reports, they might be banned.
    • You can delete your own posts by clicking the “Delete” button (🗑️).
  • Step 6: Tip with SOL:
    • Go to the Tip tab.
    • Enter the recipient’s Solana wallet address (you can ask them for it in SocialFi).
    • Set the amount of SOL to send (minimum 0.001 SOL).
    • Click “Send Tip.” You’ll need a connected wallet with enough SOL to cover the tip and transaction fees (about $0.50).

Tips for Using SocialFi

  • Be Respectful: Don’t use bad language—posts with banned words (like profanity or slurs) will be censored automatically. Too many reports can lead to a ban.
  • Change Your Name Wisely: You can only change your display name every 20 minutes. Pick a name that reflects you, or use your wallet address if you want tips!
  • Tip Others: Tipping is a great way to support the community. While you don’t earn points for sending tips, it can encourage others to tip you back.
  • Check Your Wallet: Make sure you have enough SOL for tipping. Each tip transaction costs a small fee (about $0.50), so keep your wallet funded.

Leaderboard Guide

The Leaderboard in the Solana Suite tracks your points for airdrop rewards. The more points you earn, the better your share of free tokens during an airdrop. This guide will explain how to earn points, understand the tiers, and get the most out of the Leaderboard.

What is the Leaderboard?

The Leaderboard is a system that keeps track of points you earn by using the Solana Suite. These points determine your rank in airdrop tiers, which decide how many free tokens you get during an airdrop. It’s like a rewards program—the more active you are, the more you can earn!

How to Earn Points

You can earn points through various activities in the Solana Suite:

  • Play Tetris: For every 1,000 points you score in Tetris, you earn 1 point toward the Leaderboard. For example, scoring 5,000 points in Tetris gives you 5 Leaderboard points.
  • Play the RPG: In the NewbieVerse RPG, you earn 1 point for every 5,000 gold you collect. Gold persists even if you restart the game, so you can keep earning points over time.
  • Use the TradeBot: For each buy-and-sell cycle, you earn 5 points toward the Leaderboard for airdrop rewards. If you make a profit of $1 or more on a trade, you get a bonus of 3 points. For example, a successful trade with $1.50 profit earns you 8 points (5 + 3).
  • Use the Launchpad: When you create a token, you earn 20 points toward the Leaderboard for airdrop rewards. If someone else trades your token, you earn 2 points per trade, up to a maximum of 50 points per token. For example, if 25 people trade your token, you’ll earn 50 points (25 trades × 2 points).

Understanding Airdrop Tiers

Your points place you into one of four airdrop tiers, which determine your share of free tokens during an airdrop:

  • Tier 1: 50-5,000 Points: If you have between 50 and 5,000 points, you’re in Tier 1. You’ll share 15% of the airdropped tokens with others in this tier.
  • Tier 2: 5,001-25,000 Points: With 5,001 to 25,000 points, you’re in Tier 2. You’ll share 20% of the tokens with others in this tier. This is a step up from Tier 1!
  • Tier 3: 25,001-150,000 Points: If you have 25,001 to 150,000 points, you’re in Tier 3. You’ll share 25% of the tokens with others in this tier.
  • Tier 4: 150,001+ Points: With 150,001 points or more, you’re in Tier 4—the top tier! You’ll share 40% of the tokens with others in this tier, giving you the biggest share.

What Are Airdrop Rewards?

An airdrop is when we distribute free tokens to users based on their Leaderboard points:

  • How It Works: We’ll periodically create a new token and distribute 50% of its total supply to users based on their tiers.
  • Your Share: The higher your tier, the larger your share of the tokens. For example, Tier 4 users share 40% of the tokens, while Tier 1 users share 15%.
  • Using Tokens: You can trade airdropped tokens on the Launchpad, use them to tip others in SocialFi, or hold onto them for future value.

Tips for Using the Leaderboard

  • Play Regularly: Spend time in Tetris and the RPG to earn points steadily. Even small scores in Tetris or gold in the RPG add up over time.
  • Trade Actively: Use the TradeBot to automate trades and earn points with each buy-and-sell cycle. Aim for profitable trades to get the bonus points!
  • Create Tokens: Deploy tokens on the Launchpad to earn points, and encourage others to trade your tokens to maximize your points.
